Many people request that, in lieu of flowers, grief supporters donate to a cause in memory of their lost loved one. Perhaps, the loved one passed from a disease, supported a cause that was very close to their heart, or had benefited from the charity of a particular organization during their life. Either way, a donation in memory of a loved one is a wonderful way to pay tribute to their life and show support for the bereaved family. Donations need not be made only at the time of the funeral. You can continue to donate year round or for special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, etc.).
